The tooth fairy uses sarcasm and light scolding to chastise an older child for not believing in her anymore in this free, printable letter.
Text of the letter:
We need to talk. I think the spark has gone out of this relationship. It's like you're not even trying anymore. I remember when you were a little kid and you took good care of your teeth. When you lost one you were so excited. You would put it in the special pouch or box and it was such a nice surprise to find it so carefully wrapped.
But now, what is this? Just tossed under the pillow, barely cleaned, no special box. What am I, your maid? Also, I believe this tooth has a filling in it. I'm not looking for spackle in my fairy tooth castle walls, kiddo. I want the genuine article only. If you're not going to hold up your end of the bargain, we're going to have to re-evaluate the terms of our agreement.
Maybe you don't think this tradition is worth a measly few bucks. Just you wait, though. In a few years you'll have to get your money the hard way, working day shifts at Dairy Queen. Then maybe you'll appreciate all I've done for you.
